Translation
What is the most important thing about a quality translation? That it should not actually feel like it has been translated at all! I am able to tackle a wide range of French and Italian texts, from the shortest certificate to the most detailed and complex contract.
With 15 years’ experience, I can grasp the nuances of the source text and render the same meaning faithfully in English. I take pride in both my foreign languages and my native tongue and nothing gives me more pleasure than a satisfied client.
Consecutive Interpreting
In some settings, such as meetings, interviews or site visits, there simply isn’t the equipment for simultaneous interpreting. The answer? Consecutive. By making notes and then reading out my translation, I can respect the source text wherever I may be.
This type of service is ideal in all kinds of settings, from hospitals to factories to the middle of the countryside. All you need is a notepad, pen and, of course, a qualified consecutive interpreter. And here I am!

Simultaneous Interpreting
For jobs where immediacy must be combined with accuracy, a simultaneous interpretation is what you need, whether that be in a booth, remotely or ‘whispered’ (chuchotage). Having graduated with an MA in Translation and Interpreting, focusing specifically on interpreting skills, I am comfortable providing a simultaneous interpretation in most settings.
With a strong sense of professional ethics and a highly client-centred approach, I will be your trusted language liaison, even in the most confidential fields.
Proofreading & Editing
Sometimes, your translation needs a little finetuning. If so, then I am your man. With a keen eye for detail and nuance, I can take on any proofreading or editing job, including AI translations.
It still takes a human touch for a translation to feel natural and ensure the tenor of the original document is respected.
